Want to start trading but not sure where to begin? In this video, we will show you how to download MetaTrader, the most popular trading platform for Forex and CFDs. MetaTrader offers powerful tools, real-time market analysis, and a user-friendly interface, making it a top choice for traders worldwide.
Step 1: Log in to the Client Portal
The first step is to log in to your Client Portal on the Vantage website. Make sure you have your login credentials ready before proceeding.
Step 2: Click on the Download Section
Once logged in, navigate to the menu and click on “Download”. This will take you to the section where you can download the MetaTrader platform.
Step 3: Choose Between MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5
Under the download section, you will see two options: MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5). If your account was set up for MetaTrader 4, choose MT4. However, if you created an account for MetaTrader 5, select MT5.
In our example, since our account is for MetaTrader 5, we will select MT5.
Step 4: Select Your Operating System
Since we are using a Windows device in this example, we will choose the Windows option. However, if you are using a different operating system like Mac or Android, be sure to select the correct operating system for your device.
Step 5: Download the MetaTrader Platform
After selecting the appropriate version and operating system, the MetaTrader platform will start downloading. Once the download is complete, go to your Download History and click on the Vantageinternational5 setup file to begin the installation.
Step 6: Install the Application
When the installation window appears, click Yes on your computer’s notification to allow the application to install. After that, simply click Next to proceed with the installation process.
Step 7: Complete the Installation
Once the installation is successful, click Finish to complete the setup. You might be redirected to MQL5, but you can simply close this page.
Step 8: Access the Vantage App
Now, you can find the Vantage app on your home screen. Click on the app, and there you go—you’re all set to start using MetaTrader!
